Registration is now open for our Flex Users Conference June 15 & 16 at Crowne Plaza Orlando Universal. Thank you to Evolve Academy for sponsoring AV for the conference! Registration is $199, and presenters will be Chris Stein, Lisa Fossler, and Branden Rosenlof. Wireless internet access will be provided. Please review available session descriptions, select those you would like to attend, and register for the conference.

June 15th 12:30 PM – 6:00 PM

  • 12:30-1: Registration
  • 1-2:15: Opening General Session

How Registration Works: You’ll have the option in registration of selecting either a track (Beginner, Intermediate, or Advanced) or the specific individual sections you would like to attend. Three sessions are offered concurrently four times throughout the conference. Your selected schedule with room locations for each session will be communicated via email a few weeks prior to the conference.

Beginner Track – Presented by Lisa

Session 1 – Beginner Crash Course. Learn the basics of Flex, including how to navigate the system, basic setup, quote building, QuickBooks integration, creating and managing contacts, and more.

Session 2 – Inventory and Services Setup. Learn how to add and edit inventory items (serialized vs non-serialized items, pricing, suggestions, suppliers, etc.) and service offerings.

Session 3 – Reports Overview. Learn about the reports that can be utilized in Flex.

Session 4 – Full Job and Warehouse Process. Learn how to complete the entire job process from start to finish: creating a quote, prepping a pull sheet, adding purchase orders, returning a manifest, and creating an invoice.

Intermediate Track – Presented by Branden

Session 1 – Workflow (Intermediate). Learn how to modify and add to your current workflow. (This session is designed for users who have a basic understanding of workflows in Flex.)

Session 2 – Security Settings and Permissions. Learn about the different security settings in Flex, including a breakdown of each user permission in Flex.

Session 3 – Labor and Staffing. Learn how to create Labor POs and use the staffing assistant.

Session 4 – Intermediate Inventory Setup. Learn more about setting up inventory, including packages, virtual items, and more. (Designed for intermediate users. Some users, especially inventory managers, might consider participating in the Inventory and Services Setup session before this one.)

Advanced Track – Presented by Chris

Session 1 – Pricing Models & Fee Matrices. Learn how to create custom pricing models and fee matrices.

Session 2 – Conflicts and Availability. Learn how conflicts and availability work in Flex, including an in-depth look at Status Options in Flex.

Session 3 – Workflow (Advanced). Learn more about workflows in Flex. (This session is designed for users with at least an intermediate understanding of workflows in Flex.)

Session 4 – Element Configuration. Learn how to configure each element in Flex (quotes, pull sheets, invoices, etc.) to work the way that your company works.
