1. What is your favorite live event memory and why?
Running monitors for Charlie Daniels Band. Their crew was super nice and easy to work with and Mr. Daniels took the time to meet me and shake my hand, which is more than many artists will do!
2. If you could see any show of any performer (living or passed), who would it be and why? (BONUS: Where would you want to see them?)
Jimi Hendrix at Woodstock or Queen at Live Aid would be top contenders for me, both are incredibly talented artists and seeing them at these monumental performances would be amazing.
3. What is the best part of your job and why?
Troubleshooting unique problems, identifying the source, and creating lasting solutions.
4. What sets Flex apart from its competition?
The live event industry is engrained in Flex, being developed by those that worked in the industry and new features driven by feedback from users to create a smoother experience.
5. What is one prediction you have for the future of the industry?
Hybrid events are going to continue to grow as well as utilizing new tech to keep participants engaged.
My name is Richard and I am a DevOps Engineer at Flex Rental Solutions. I previously worked in the live event industry for about a decade but have been a part of the team here for the last 3 years. In my free time I enjoy being outside and going on hikes and attending live music.
