The recent completion of five back-to-back sold-out concerts featuring four different acts at Soldier Field is a historic milestone for the live events industry. We are proud that six Flex customers were there to support acts like Oasis, My Chemical Romance, Lumineers, and System of a Down with Avenged Sevenfold.

Flex customers were involved in the sound, lighting, VIP areas, and more. One customer handled video production for all five nights. In subsequent shows on the Oasis tour, additional Flex customers will handle pyro and other responsibilities.
According to reports, Soldier Field General Manager Tim LeFevour, who has been in the live events business for about 45 years, said the weekend was one for the books.
“We’ve done some of the greatest shows ever, the Grateful Dead’s final show, Rolling Stones, Taylor Swift, you name it, but five nights, four different bands, four different productions, this is unique,” LeFevour said. He added that there were 3,000 employees a day and over the five days 250,000 people at Soldier Field. “That’s just something spectacular,” LeFevour said.

Alex Armellino, production manager for Live Nation Chicago said, “We started planning all of this almost a year ago.”
Congratulations to our Flex customers, all the teams involved in making this historic weekend possible, and especially to the amazing team at Soldier Field. We would have wished for a good, long rest, but this is the live events business… and we know that’s not happening. The Chicago Bears opened their 2025 NFL season on Monday Night Football on September 8th. Because of course, they did. Flex customers worked that game, as well.
