Over Memorial Day weekend, BottleRock Napa Valley came back to the Napa Valley Expo for a sold-out, three-day run from May 22 to 24, 2026. Around 120,000 fans turned out across five stages and more than 80 performers, with Foo Fighters, Backstreet Boys, Lorde, and LCD Soundsystem leading the bill.
If the weekend sounded — and looked — as good as it did, there’s a reason for that. The audio and lighting came from Delicate Productions, a Flex customer and one of the brands in the Live Events family. And this was far from their first time. Delicate has shaped the sound and look of BottleRock since the very first festival back in 2013.
That first year, the festival’s founders were new to the business and up against a real problem. You can’t drop a 120,000-person event into the middle of downtown Napa, a few blocks from homes, restaurants, and tasting rooms, and simply turn up the volume.
Napa runs one of the tightest noise ordinances anywhere. Delicate solved it with engineering rather than guesswork, designing directional, steerable line-array systems that fill the festival grounds with sound while keeping it from spilling out into the neighborhood.
The gear has changed plenty over the years, moving from the early Martin Audio rigs to the d&b audiotechnik and L-Acoustics systems they run today, with cardioid sub arrays handling a lot of the quiet work in the background.
Lighting has grown right alongside it. Year after year Delicate has continued to put top tier fixtures in our lighting rigs utilizing their inventory across all locations. Highlighting some of their relationships with products such as Ayrton, Robe, GLP, and Acme just to name a few. Their approach has always been to create a robust infrastructure per stage to support all of the artist packages and remains a key focus point when it comes to designing the lighting rigs.
What hasn’t changed is the result. Year after year, the festival gives fans the energy they came for — in what they hear and what they see — and still stays inside its limits.
“BottleRock is a great example of what the Live Events brands can pull off together,” stated Brian Boyt, General Manager for Delicate. “Delicate handled audio and lighting across the festival’s stages again this year, working alongside sister brands Zenith and Gemini for overall support. It’s a single-source approach that takes a sprawling, multi-stage festival and runs it as one coordinated show. Our pulled resources make it more efficient for us and our clients.”

More than a decade in, Delicate makes one of the hardest jobs in live production — audio and lighting alike — look routine. Congratulations to the whole Delicate crew on another strong weekend in Napa, and to everyone who helped put BottleRock 2026 together.
