At Wired Production Group, Nicole Schroeder has become a trusted source of guidance, insight, and steady support. Her official title is Marketing Director, but to her team she is the person who helps shape strategy, identify opportunities, and bring clarity to a fast-moving industry. Her nominator describes her as a true Sales Superhero, someone who leads without needing the word “sales” in her title.
Nicole keeps a close eye on the market and understands their demographic better than anyone else. She shares that knowledge openly, helping the team spot potential leads, recognize emerging trends, and build stronger relationships in the community. She is deeply invested in helping Wired Production Group connect with their ideal clients, and she encourages the team to create long-term relationships rather than quick transactions.
When one of their top clients scaled back this year, Nicole was the force that kept the team moving forward. She pushed for new opportunities, reminded everyone of their strengths, and helped them stay focused during a challenging moment. Her positive energy and passion for the work make her someone colleagues seek out when they need perspective on a stressful day.
Nicole also supports new employees by teaching them how to navigate the sales software. She does this patiently and more than once if needed. Her willingness to share her knowledge reflects the kind of leader she is. She is someone who wants the entire team to feel confident and supported.
If there were a soundtrack for sending a quote, Nicole would choose “Don’t Stop Me Now” by Queen. It captures the momentum and excitement she brings to her work.
When she thinks about why she still loves this industry, she describes the energy that comes with seeing live events take shape. She loves watching rigs go up, lights turn on, and teams create something that cannot be ordered online. It is meaningful to market and sell something tangible and experiential. She finds joy in the creativity, the problem-solving, and the electric feeling when everything comes together.
She believes the real sales superpower in this industry is the ability to make something technical feel personal. Clients are not buying truss or cameras. They are buying confidence. They are buying ease. They are buying the feeling that their big moment is in good hands. Nicole brings this perspective to every interaction, and it shapes the way she guides her team.
Nicole’s insight, warmth, and commitment to helping others grow reflect exactly what makes a Sales Superhero. She brings out the best in her team, strengthens the client relationships that matter most, and approaches every challenge with optimism and purpose.
Nomination:
Nominated by Kristy Owens: Nicole may not call herself our Head of Sales, but the knowledge and insight she shares with our team have been invaluable. She keeps a keen eye on the market, has a better understanding than anyone else of our demographic, and provides guidance on potential leads and emerging opportunities. Using every resource available, Nicole builds strong relationships within our community to help identify our “ideal clients” while encouraging the rest of the team to dig deeper and foster lasting connections. When one of our top clients scaled back this year, she was the driving force pushing us to find new opportunities. Always patient and gracious, she takes the time to teach new employees how to navigate the sales software, multiple times over.
Nicole always has a positive energy and passion for her work. She is someone everyone seeks out on a stressful day to help put things back into perspective. Even though she may not have the “”Director of Sales”” title, to us she is a true Sales Superhero.
